     It is very difficult for me to write this journal.  My feelings are raw right now, and my mind a bit cloudy.  I had to say goodbye to my dog, Buddy, on Sunday. Buddy was approaching nineteen (19) years of age. He had lost his eyesight sometime ago.  He was partially deaf for the past year as well.  Nonetheless, he did terrific for his age and got around fine. But things took an abrupt turn two weeks ago. I spent the last two weeks with him back and forth to the vet trying  IV fluids/nourishment for his kidney failure.
